The research service has really been kicking since going paid ~4 months ago. Looking to continue building on that momentum and adding value where I can. Remember, this service is just an extension of my own research that I conduct and find interesting which I share with you all. However, that does not mean that I share everything in an effort to not spam anyone with too many emails.
With that said, I am looking for thoughts/feedback on what I can offer to increase the value proposition more than it already is. I will be doing more quick, free posts that everyone can benefit from that will be published here first and then on social media later to benefit those who have taken the time to sign up.
Additionally, I’m also thinking about adding the following
A podcast where
I interview different management executives that we have a position with.
Industry experts in related fields, etc.
Other managers
Post-mortems, where I go over positions that went well or not and why
General industry content that’s tied back to a specific trend/investment
Quick trade ideas that I’m thinking about beyond researching for core positions
End-of-week recaps of commentary I found interesting/insightful? (Think like what “The Transcript” does)
Something similar to Weekly Snacks but internally (i.e. by Cedar Grove Capital)
If there’s anything else you can think of that you’d like to see, please let me know! Ignore whether it will be paid or not. I just want ideas from the few thousand who have signed up to read my work.
I particularly enjoy when you highlight companies doing dodgy things, or ludicrous valuations. Similarly, I enjoy when you explore misunderstood stocks.
IMHO:
1. management incentives covered first and foremost.
2. Deep dives analyzing companies (including the above).
Whether a podcast or text, either way is fine :)
Can you elaborate on your point #1? Just want to make sure I understand
Sure. Some of the things I am trying to keep track of:
1. Does management have skin in the game?
2. Does management have incentives (RSU, Options, etc) to align with us (minority shareholders) ?
3. $ value comparison: Annual salary relative to company ownership
4. Are the insiders buyers or sellers in the last 12 (or pick your period) months

Yea definitely will continue doing more of that. Thanks, Edmund!
